When are the CPA exam registration deadlines

Timing is crucial when you consider you have to juggle an 18-month deadline to complete all four parts alongside a six-month notice-to-schedule deadline. So when you’re thinking ahead to scheduling deadlines, here’s something to bear in mind:
Start by picking your desired testing date, but then work backwards and allow 45 days prior to this to schedule it if you want to maximize your chances of actually getting that date. Don’t forget that availability is dictated by demand and test site seating capacity, so the sooner you start scheduling the better.
You’ll also want to bear in mind that you’ll need your NTS in hand before you schedule and receiving this also takes time. So think about it this way: if you want to sit for an exam on May 15, you’ll need to call as early as April 1 to make sure you have a chance at approval for your desired date. But if you want to make that call on April 1, you should have begun your application process in the first half of February to make sure your NTS is with you in time.
And if you really want to try your luck and leave things to the last minute – take note that the latest you can try to schedule an exam is five days in advance. Good luck!
