Not directly, no. In addition to passing the exam, to earn your PCM designation, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:
Have a bachelor’s degree (or global equivalent) and 2 years of professional marketing experience or have a master’s degree (or global equivalent) and 1 year of professional marketing experience.
The PCM exam is only offered in English.
You have 3 hours to complete the PCM exam.
The AMA PCM® Certification Exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions. Each question contains five choices, only one of which is the correct or best answer. You will be required to provide an answer to each question before moving onto the next.

No, you do not need to be a member of the AMA to sit for the exam. However, as an AMA member, you’ll get unlimited access to a vast members-only database of resources, tools and content such as white papers, best practices, research reports written by the most respected names in the industry and much more.
