Your Brand Awareness Bible

If you want to ensure your digital marketing strategy is as effective this year as it was last year; you need to change it. This may seem like a bit of a contradiction in terms, but digital marketing is constantly evolving, and you need to be prepared to keep up with it. If you want to stay on top in 2018, these are some marketing trends you should know – and adopt.
Build Better Leads
Lead generation is no longer just about having the most contacts, it’s about having the right contacts. If you want your lead generation to work in 2018, you need to keep your list relevant. Consumers are bombarded by companies these days and they are unlikely to respond favorably if they are not your target market. You need to be prepared to take the time to understand your market and build relationships with them, rather than just building a contact list and hoping for the best. Consumers want to feel valued, they want you to take the time to get to know them and they won’t settle for less.
Scatter Your Seeds
There may be 58 million Facebook users in the Middle East, but don’t forget there are also 6.5 million Twitter users and 5.8 million LinkedIn users, so don’t just stick to one platform. You can share content on a variety of different social media platforms simultaneously and reach a range of different consumers. If you stick to Facebook, you may be missing out on a lot of the younger audience, who tend to prefer Instagram and Snapchat these days. You can also turn one piece of content into several others. For instance, a video post could also become a blog post and an article. Make the most out of the tools you have at your disposable and market to as many people in your target audience as possible.
Improve Brand Awareness
You need to be prepared to take the time to build your brand, rather than simply focusing on lead generation and making sales. Consumers have a lot of choices these days and they will only buy from companies they feel they can trust to deliver. If you are constantly bombarding your audience with sales pitches, they will soon be turned off. On the other hand, if customers get to know and trust your brand, they are far more likely to buy from you and to be loyal to you. Provide your audience with useful content and engage with them, if you want to improve your customer base.
