The largest “Financial Case Study Competition” Launching Across Universities in Lebanon

15 March 2016, Beirut - Lebanon: The Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Notre Dame

University - Louaize (NDU) is organizing the first 2016 Inter-Universities Finance Competition in Lebanon. It has

joined forces with Morgan International, the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and Wiley and Sons to

offer senior finance students from various institutions across Lebanon the opportunity to display their strength

and knowledge in areas of finance and risk management in the first inter-university competition taking place on

20 April 2016.


Students from The American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanese American University (LAU), Holy Spirit

University of Kaslik (USEK), University of Balamand, Middle East University (MEU) along with NDU students will

be given the opportunity to publicly answer questions and participate in a case study competition from a

selection of topics related to Corporate Finance, Investment and Risk Management. The selected teams will be

judged on their aptitude, strong knowledge base in key areas along with their forward thinking abilities and

presentation skills. The competing teams will be judged on Wednesday 20 April 2016 at 14:00 at Issam Fares

Conference Hall, NDU Main Campus, with the winning team taking out the following prizes:

  •  A full scholarship on a CMA live course, courtesy of Morgan International. All other participating team

members will receive a 20% discount on a live course of their choice

  • Full scholarships on IMA memberships, entrance fee and the two CMA exams, courtesy of the Institute

of Management Accountants

  •  Complimentary CMA Review material, courtesy of Wiley & Sons
