So you’re ready to register for your IQEX exam? Follow our easy step by step guide for success.

Apply online

Go to nasba.org and create an online user account. Make sure the name on your application appears exactly the same as it is on the identification you plan to take to the testing center.

Submit your Letter of Good Standing

All candidates must request a Letter of Good Standing to be submitted directly from their professional credentialing institution to document their qualifications.  The letter must be submitted directly from your institute and can be sent to iqex@nasba.org.

Pay the Fee

The exam fee of $835 is non refundable or transferable and must be paid by credit card using a MasterCard, Visa or Discover.

Receive Your Notice to Schedule

Your application, letter of good standing and fee processing takes up to five business days to determine eligibility, after which your notice to schedule (NTS) will be sent to you via the contact method indicated on your application. Your NTS is valid for six months from date of issue.

Schedule Your Exam

Keep your NTS with you when you schedule your exam. To do this go to prometric.com/cpa and select which testing window (choose from the first two months of each calendar quarter) and where (any of the authorized Prometric test centers in the 54 U.S jurisdictions and Canada). Scheduling must take place at least five days in advance of the test date. If you prefer to schedule by phone, call Prometric’s Candidate Services on 800-864-8080 from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Make a Note

You will not receive written confirmation of your appointment. Be sure to write down the date, time, location and confirmation number for your appointments.

Receive Your Score

Keep a hold of your NTS after the exam is over as it has your exam ID on it, which is essential to retrieve your score. For more information on the score release timeline, visit aicpa.org.

The above is a brief guide. If you have any more questions or need any assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us, we’ll be happy to guide you every step of the way.
