You’ll need to take anything from 5 to 14 exams depending on your exemptions. Morgan has all the info you need to feel fully prepared when exam time comes.Let’s explore the exam
Professional ethics is at the heart of the ACCA qualification & is covered in 11 of the 16 exam papers. papers. The Professional Ethics module must also be taken before you can be an ACCA member.
To add to your theoretical knowledge and ethical awareness, you’ll need to complete 36 months of practical experience requirement (PER) in one or more accounting or finance-related roles to acquire your ACCA.Dive into PER.

Explore the ACCA exam
The ACCA qualification is divided into two levels: Fundamentals and Professional. The Fundamentals level is also divided into two modules: Knowledge and Skills. The Knowledge papers introduce you to the main areas of financial & management accounting, while the Skills papers cover six main technical accountancy subjects, which are vital to all accountants.
Fundamentals (9 papers in total):
KnowledgeF1: Accountant in Business F2: Management Accounting F3: Financial Accounting
SkillsF4: Corporate and Business Law F5: Performance Management F6: Taxation F7: Financial Reporting F8: Audit and Assurance F9: Financial Management Professional Ethics is at the heart of the ACCA qualification and is covered in 11 of the 16 exam papers. The Professional Ethics module must also be taken before you can become an ACCA member. Students are given access to the Professional Ethics module when they have completed the first three exams of the ACCA Qualification (F1 - Accountant in Business, F2 - Management Accounting and F3 - Financial Accounting), although it is recommended that students take the module at the same time as, or before, attempting Paper P1 - Governance, Risk and Ethics.
Exam Windows: March, June, September and December
Minimum Pass Mark: 50%
The Professional level builds on your technical knowledge exploring more advanced skills, techniques and values; the exam papers are set at the same ability as a master’s degree. You’ll need to pass three papers in the Essentials module & complete two out of four papers in the Options module to succeed in acquiring ACCA status.
